| President's Letter The Real Estate Circle At our recent AGM in Frankfurt, one of the important topics for discussion was the real estate issue, which as you know, has been an important topic of consultation and debate since our AGM in Vienna in 2009. The council presented a definite proposal, saying that only those companies who are flawless relocation providers with no activity as real estate agents may be Full Members of EuRA; at least not under the same name and address. Following the cancellation of our Palma Conference, EuRA’s AGM was rescheduled to take place at the Intercontinental Hotel in Frankfurt, at the same time as the Worldwide ERC EMEA Conference in the same city. We also arranged a drinks reception to follow this event. There was plenty present to members this year. Apart from the usual presentations relating to the activities of the Association, the Annual Accounts and the re-appointment of the Auditors, there were a number of changes proposed to the Articles of Memorandum and Articles of Association as well as the Rules of Conduct. | Election News: 2010 Nominations The elections for the three vacancies on the EuRA Council are now underway. We are seeking nominations from the Southern and Benelux Regions as well as the newly created Eastern region. The process is very simple. If you wish to stand you need to be nominated and seconded by an existing EuRA Full Member and then send the form, along with a Willingness to Serve notice to the EuRA Office. All Full Members have been sent all the information. The deadline for receiving nominations is July 9th. A Bulletin announcing the candidates will be sent out the following week and the ballot will be open until 5pm CET Friday July 30th. If you need to be sent the information, please don't hesitate to contact us. A Fond Farewell: Nathalie Gazal and Etic Klitsch One of the few downsides to living in a democracy, is saying goodbye to Council Members when they have served their maximum terms. This year, we say a heartfelt thank you and “adieu” to Council Members Nathalie Bourdin Gazal of Expat Relocation France and Eric Klitsch of Brussels Relocation. For the full article, click here. EARP Changes: CERP Becomes ERQ Three important changes have been made to the EARP 3 level qualifications.
