EuRA InGA - Information Gathering and Analysis:

Results InGA Bulletin Coming Soon

Two terms in the world of EuRA are still rather new and unfamiliar for some of you: EuRA InGA: “Information Gathering and Analysis” - Under this title we will conduct all research and survey activities. In most cases we will use surveymonkey.com an Internet tool allowing total anonymity. The analysis will be done internally. EuRA InGAB: “Information Gathering and Analysis Bulletin” - The results and the findings of the analysis will be published in a separate Bulletin. It will be independent from the EuRApean and the regular EuRA Bulletin; however, you might find a synopsis of the findings in the EuRApean. The first InGAB will be sent out at the end of May and will release the results from InGA 1 & 2. However, here is a summary of the results collated so far;

    Berlitz / EuRA Research:

    Expat Expectations

    We are thrilled to announce the launch of a new expatriate research project in collaboration with Berlitz Consulting.  Over the past three years we have been working to collate information on our industry and our members in order to build a reliable set of comparative data, but also to be used as an effective PR and Marketing tool for our wider industry. The next stage in this project is working with Berlitz to collate accurate expatriate data. Vienna Review:

    What delegates told us about our 11th International Relocation Congress

    We could not have been more thrilled to welcome 465 delegates to this year’s International Relocation Congress in Vienna. When we started planning this event back in 2007, we had no idea that the global economy would take such a dramatic downturn. For the last four years we have built our conference on the basis of a 10-15% growth in delegate numbers and the planning for Vienna was no exception.

    Charity Update:

    €3500 Raised in Vienna

    This year we asked our members in Austria to nominate a local charity that we could support, and through the exceptional generosity of our delegates at the conference we raised over €3500 from our final night Party.  A huge thank you to all of you who so generously donated prizes:

      EuRA - One complete conference package and accommodation

      InterContinental - Three nights in Cyprus

      Elisabeth Sommer - Two nights in Salzburg

      Austrian Members - Books, wine and Austrian delicacies

      Triplicado - one night in Lisbon

      Plus there were a host of other generous prizes donated and the evening was a great success!  Thanks to all of our generous givers.

      What an exciting time to introduce my company, Global LT,  to the European Relocation Community, as 2009 is our 30th year in business, and we  recently became a worldwide member of EuRA! I truly enjoyed exchanging ideas about our industry.  To those of you I had the pleasure of meeting, thank you for the interesting discussions.  Read More...
