| Four Hours In Palma...
Palma is a city best explored on foot. The central area, incorporating the ancient and modern city of Palma, is easily explored in half a day. Start your tour with a coffee looking over the magnificent view of the bay of Palma from the terrace café of Es Baluard, the Museum of Contemporary and Modern Art of Palma. This 21st century gallery is built inside the Renaissance walls of the ancient city and incorporates the restored remains of the 11th century Moorish tower. Back in the early 1990s, a friend told me about her new job duties as a relocation consultant and my first thought was: "This job has my name written all over it!" I had the perfect background: I had moved 21 different times myself, I studied law with a concentration in tenancy law and immigration law, I had many years of experience in property management and overseeing construction projects and I knew the city inside and out thanks to my student job as a taxi driver. It took two more years for me to give up what I was doing at the time and, in 1996, I became the head of the Berlin office for a relocation service based in Frankfurt. So, pretty much everything about this job, particularly working with international employees, is enjoyment pure and simple and doesn't feel like work at all." For the full article, click here.
