This is the 4th Module of the Managing International Mobility Programme, CTI - "Cultural Theory & Intelligence - The Psychological Impact of Relocation".
In this module our trainers, Dominic Tidey and Sabine Baerlocher will look at the traditional and new approaches to understanding cultures. The research allows us to take a wide view of a society within a country and sets out paradigms for the norms of behaviour that exist there. The newer, less empirical approaches allow us to look at developing our own intercultural competence and to adopt an approach based on coaching and counselling skills; learn to know yourself and you can learn to know and succeed in cultures outside your own.
