Activities

  • Provision of support and advice for relocation professionals.
  • Provision of advice and training for new entrants to the industry.
  • Conferences to provide a forum for the exchange of industry information, training, etc.
  • Regular publication of industry information both internally and externally.
  • Creation, by lobbying and all other means, of a legal framework within which the European Relocation Industry can grow and develop.
  • Establishment a "think tank" for future industry planning and development.

Management

An elected governing council of 8 (two from each European region), with a President and a Vice-president in office for a period of one year, which can be extended to two at the invitation of the Council.

The Council is empowered to discipline members who breach EuRA's Rules of Conduct.

Day to day activities are co-ordinated by EuRA's appointed Secretaire Generale and the office team based in the UK.

Four European Regions:
Benelux: Belgium, Luxembourg & The Netherlands.
Central: Germany, Austria, part of Switzerland & Eastern Europe.
Northern: United Kingdom, Ireland & the Scandinavian Countries.
Southern: France, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain & part of Switzerland

A Professional Body

EuRA is an industry body for Relocation Professionals in both Europe and Worldwide. Relocation Service Providers are required to abide by EuRA's Rules of Conduct. For a downloadable copy of the Rules of Conduct, go to the Membership section.

Origin

European Relocation Association (EuRA) was launched in Brussels in May 1998 in response to the increasing demand for an industry body. The launch was the result of a year of international co-operation. To date EuRA has over 236 members worldwide.
