Integreat Relocation

Isn’t Our Industry Exciting??? All these countries, nationalities, developments, cultures… may I go on??? Luxembourg is among the smallest of destinations in terms of geography, however definitely one of the leaders by other definitions.

Relocation is really not just my job, it has been my passion, no probably many would say obsession (depending who you ask!). All the interesting people, the stories and the experiences we encounter every day never ceases to amaze me.

It is a pleasure to say that Integreat is the first relo specialist company to join EURA from Luxembourg and we are also celebrating our 10 year anniversary in 2008. This spotlight article is a fantastic tool to give more depth and insight to our company in such an honorable manner and I will take this opportunity to say THANK YOU.

Previously I was elected by the European Relocation Association membership to represent the BENELUX region on the Council, and have participated first hand in the ever changing world we call RELOCATION.

This “insider” perspective and regional recognition have definitely also played a strong role in our firm hold of the Luxembourg market. Integreat SA has set the path for top technology and relocation trends. Our clients have upgraded their policies and stamped their presence in the country with the local offices.

Our certifications and accreditations have kept us at the forefront. Client tracking and reporting, housing market trends, evaluations and feedback have all played a bigger role in the positive outcome of these assignments and for the employee to stay with the company that has invested in them.

Our success rate speaks loudly. Our clients average two (2) days to find a suitable residence property, often with significant savings on overall cost and actual face-to-face time reduced to only one (1) day for administration requirements.

Integreat S.A. is an independent company located in the city center and our Highlights include our consultant team of more than 10 Multicultural Nationals, speaking over 15 languages with over 15 years living experience in various countries around the world.

Moving to Luxembourg is a challenge; the weather is NOT ideal, the shopping is LESS than desired, the landscape is lovely but culturally the country is VERY reserved. Overall the finance and engineering sectors are extremely internationally minded, and statistically it has been predicted that the majority of the population will be non- Luxembourgish.

Having said that, Luxembourg is in fact a wonderful location for family life and quality of life. There are so many foreigners in the city center that even you do not feel like a foreigner. English is spoken within many companies as the working language and most people actually just pass through – within about 45 minutes – so if that is the case do feel free to fill up your car (as we have the cheapest petrol in Europe) and give us a call … on a hands free mobile of course!!!

Originally I am from Southern California crossed the United States to obtain my BA degree in Anthropology from Columbia University, (BC) in New York City. After graduation I ventured overseas and signed on as a basketball player in the Luxembourg national league, and in my glory days could hit a three point shot from anywhere on the court – but please don’t ask me to attempt this now!!

While in Europe between traveling to all of the wonderful other destinations for weekend excursions, I have been continuing my education towards an MBA. Off the court, my career background includes Human Resources, International Personnel Administration, Event Co-ordination, Training Development and Cultural Consulting.

Now, I have developed this network to support others in making their transition to Luxembourg GREAT. Feel free to check additional information on our website www.integreat.lu
