Conference 2006 - Budapest

We are pleased to confirm that next years' conference will be on Thursday the 6th and Friday 7th April in the magnificent city of Budapest.

The venue for the conference will be the Intercontinental Hotel, which is situated in the centre of the city on the bank of the Danube in Pest.  We will be confirming the programme and costs in the invitations which will be sent out at the start of September.

The conference will follow the familiar pattern of training on the Thursday (including a networking lunch for all members) followed by the Gala Dinner, with the main conference and Big Budapest Boat Bash happening on the Friday.  Full details of the programme and accommodation details will be on the website very shortly.

Training Programme

The regional training programme for the next year is very nearly complete.  EuRA has the task of delivering regional training across Europe, and between now and the Budapest conference, the training dates are as follows:

London - 28th October 2005

Prague - 25th November 2005

Stockholm - 3rd February 2006

Spain/Portugal - 17th February 2006

We will also be running training days in Ireland, Italy and Germany, the dates of which are yet to be confirmed.  We will be sending out full details of the training programmes and the subjects to be delivered later in the year.  Full details will also be posted on our website at least six weeks in advance of the event.  We look forward to seeing you at future training.

EuRA London Members Day

The next EuRA Members Day will be on the 28th of October in London, at The Royal Geographical Society, in Kensington.  We have negotiated an accommodation deal with the Rembrandt Hotel, a five minute walk from the venue, for delegates wishing to stay on Thursday the 27th or Friday the 28th.  An optional dinner for delegates will also be held on the evening of Thursday the 27th.

Following a welcome to London by the President, a Level 2 training session on IT in Relocation will be delivered.  This session is intended to bring delegates right up to date on the latest tools for streamlining systems and implementing relocation specific database software.  After a networking lunch, a panel session will allow delegates to participate in a discussion on the state of the industry.  For full details and a booking form click here.

We look forward to seeing you there.
