SNPRM Member's Day

The SNPRM was formed in 1995, to represent and support the growing French relocation industry.  The SNPRM have been at the forefront of the development of Association services for relocation providers and have been instrumental in the development of both EuRA itself and the EARP.

France has a strong relocation industry and a reputation for excellence in the provision of relocation services.  Not only that, the French government recognise the importance of employee mobility to the success of business, and actively encourage domestic moves, supporting the process with generous financial assistance to employers and employees.  As a result, France has a strong and growing relocation industry, serving both a large domestic and international client base.

The SNPRM celebrated their annual member’s day, on June 15th.  As a partner in the EARP, the emphasis for the day was on the importance of training and the growth in professionalism as a direct result of the SNPRM’s excellence as a training body under the accreditation of the EARP project.    The day was hosted by HSBC, newly arrived in France and keen to build their international finance business.  As a result, the relocation service providers are key to the growth of their international domestic business.  They hosted a reception and the member’s day itself, in their newly restored offices on the Champs Elysee and delegates were greeted by the newly elected President of the SNPRM, Gwenaelle de Gouttes, of Provence Welcome Service, and Thierry Schimpff, the SNPRM Chief Executive.  Presentations throughout the day were made regarding training and the development of the EARP and Joelle Touhadian, the SNPRM EARP Board Member spoke about the importance of the project and its impact on professionalism throughout the industry.

The next event in the SNPRM calendar will be their annual conference, in Lyon on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of October this year.  For details of SNPRM events, go to
