This is despite mounting concerns around immigration and an increasingly uncertain geopolitical climate following changes implemented by the new US administration and the anticipated impact of Brexit.
The second annual EuRA Global Conference took place in November in Dubai. Following on from our first Global event in Cape Town, we took the same successful formula and invited speakers with terrific experience in their fields to look at the challenges and opportunities of working in the Middle East. The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries made up the nationalities of the majority of our delegates and we were delighted to welcome many first time guests to a EuRA event.
Every day we are faced with confrontations between people, groups, and nations who think, feel and act differently. At the same time, these people, groups and nations are exposed to common problems that require cooperation for finding a common solution. One of the reasons why so many solutions do not work or cannot be implemented is because differences in thinking among the partners have been ignored.
