Exceptional Contribution Award Winners

Helmut Berg
Winner of the EuRA Award for Exceptional Contribution to Relocation
Helmut Berg

Helmut Berg was the first ever recipient of the EuRA Award for Exceptional Contribution to Relocation and was honoured at our gala dinner in the amazing surroundings of the Vasa Museum in Stockholm 2012.

The Board of EuRA honoured Helmut in respect of his great dedication to the wider mobility industry.  Helmut build Germany's largest and most respected Destination Service Provider and was greatly respected by not only his teams, but his competitors.

Helmut contributed greatly to the industry through his work with the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council and as a Board Member of EuRA.  In 2009 Helmut was elected as President of EuRA and during his three year term he raised the profile of the organisation through his ceaseless promotion of EuRA and his loyalty to the industry.

Helmut was instrumental in the launch of the EuRA Global Quality Seal, an independently certified audit process that is approaching it's 10th anniversary. During this time the EGQS has become recognised globally as a benchmark in quality for relocation providers.  Helmut also developed and implemented the EuRA Index, now in its 6th year, initially tracking the health of our industry in Europe but now extended globally.  Helmut continues to analyse the results each month and every report is online - click here.
