Giles Orr

Giles has worked in leadership development across further, higher and professional education for over 30 years. He was vice-principal for a number of post-16 colleges, specialising in commercial development and professional services. He led the education and business development teams for a professional qualification body for 10 years, working with government agencies across the UK and internationally. Most recently he rebuilt the leadership development and commercial programmes for a University Business School. He has delivered successful education and leadership consultancy services to over 100 organisations. Giles is a qualified accountant, holding Masters and Undergraduate degrees.

Gordon Kerr is an Edinburgh-based lawyer, specialising in the wide range of legal and tax issues which impact on relocation businesses. Formerly the MD of Team Relocations, Gordon uses his relocation industry background to provide legal guidance which recognises the practical realities and challenges facing relocation firms.

His experience includes working on European and global relocation projects for a variety of major multi-national companies. Gordon is legal adviser to EuRA and writes the Legal & Tax Report in The EuRApean.

With over 18 years’ experience driving business resilience, sustainability, and social impact; Dave is a leading specialist in the global mobility, real estate, and business services sectors. He helps organisations turn sustainability into a competitive advantage—embedding it into culture, operations, marketing, and strategy. Dave has vast experience crafting industry-defining business strategies, shaping corporate purpose, and delivering award-winning communications. 

 Convinced that business can solve the world’s biggest challenges, he founded JustOne to ignite real, lasting change. Built on three principles; maximising impact, connecting social, environmental, and business goals, and putting humanity at the heart of business; JustOne empowers organisations to make sustainability simple, actionable, and transformational.

With a BA in Fashion Design and Marketing, Fiona’s career is anchored in the creative industries. Realising her strengths lay less in designing collections and more in communications, relationship management, and connecting people and ideas, Fiona moved on from fashion. Roles in PR, event management, corporate fundraising, and celebrity management took her from London to South Africa and eventually Antwerp, where she established herself as a freelance copywriter and corporate communications specialist in 2008.

Fiona became involved in the world of global mobility through her writing, starting with ABRA's quarterly newsletter and eventually rising to Secretary General of the Association of Belgian Relocation Agents. Now, as Strategic Consultant PR & Communications for EuRA, she brings that same mix of creativity, industry insight, and communications expertise to strengthening member engagement, promoting training and recognition programmes, and helping shape the future of the relocation and mobility industry.

Martina Scharwey is the founder and owner of KMS Consult (www.kmsconsult.de), a Quality, Process and Risk Management as well as HR Consulting company.

From 1990-1994 she worked at Arthur Andersen & Co in Chicago and Frankfurt on the application for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and developed and implemented Quality Management systems based on ISO 9001 and Total Quality Management. Furthermore she delivered consulting services in professional HR management and worked as a trainer.

In 1995 Martina founded her own consulting company. In addition, she works as a Quality Senior Lead Auditor for one of the leading international Certification Bodies.

During more than 25 years experience in the fields of Quality, Process, Risk and HR management Martina completed many consulting and training projects very successfully:

• Development and implementation of customised Quality Management systems and preparation and training clients' employees
• Management workshops regarding ISO 9001, process management, risk management, change management and TQM
• Training for clients with different topics, e.g. content and interpretation of the ISO 9000 family, planning and implementation of internal and external quality audits, quality techniques, risk management, project management, team development, internal communication, customer orientation and focus, complain management.
• Planning and conducting internal and external audits in companies of different branches and sizes.

In 2008 Martina developed the ‘EuRA Global Quality Seal Standard’ for relocation organisations and is up-dating the standard based on new developments in quality management, rules and regulations and requirements by customers, clients and Global Management companies in relocation business annually. She develops and conducts international Global Quality Seal Training sessions. Her extensive quality and process management experience is mirrored in several pubclications in Germany.

Martina holds a Diplom-Kauffrau (graduated in business administration) from the University of Mannheim and an EOQ Quality Systems Manager and Quality Auditor.

Nic Rattle

Nic’s career has spanned government policy development, applied research, leadership and management - alongside and throughout she has incorporated her learning into training programmes for others. Nic has developed and taught postgraduate level programmes to professionals, holds a Higher Education teaching qualification, is an ICF qualified coach, is a guest lecturer on entrepreneurship on Oxford Brookes MBA programme and leads peer networks. She is currently in the final year of her PhD, sponsored by Innovate UK, researching knowledge sharing between small businesses. She is the co-founder and non-executive director of an international social impact business, and founded Kintsugi Consulting in 2019.

Tad has been at the forefront of the relocation industry for 40 years. He started his career as a relocation professional in the East of England and was a founder member the Association of Relocation Professionals (ARP) in 1986 and taking over its administration in 1987. 

In 1998, Tad along with the ARP, was the driving force behind the formation of EuRA, which has become a leading force in global mobility. 

Tad has led various industry initiatives:

• a global standard of excellence for providers, the EGQS+. Launched in 2008, this is an ISO equivalent independent audit process to ensure seamless service delivery and excellence in process management;
• developing and implementing standards and ethics which now define the delivery of services in the UK, Europe and Globally;
• a standardised training programme for individuals the MIM, MIM+ and MIM Fellowship certifications;

and more recently working with other Associations on a project relating to sustainability as part of the Coalition for Greener Mobility. This has recently been formalised as the Coalition for Association in Global Mobility. 

Dominic Tidey is the COO of EuRA with specific responsibility for new projects, research, conferences, networking events and education programmes.  

Dominic has worked with EuRA since 1998 having studied law at university and working in social services.  In 2003 he completed his masters degree and returned to EuRA as Operations Manager, spearheading the development of the EARP now the MIM Programme in the EuRA Academy.  In 2008 he worked with the team to develop the EuRA Global Quality Seal and works with the team and strategic consultants to develop new projects.

Briony joined the EuRA team in 2010 as Accounts Administrator after a career break following the birth of her daughter, having worked within Insurance Management for over 10 years. 

Briony is responsible for EuRA Operational Processes, including Member Services (website, Directory of Members, internal and external enquiries), Events (overseeing bookings and the App, the Content Programme for the Conference, supporting sponsors), Sustainability (liaising with Coalition Members, Carbon Calculator) and also Data Analysis.  She also has specific responsibility for overseeing EuRA's income and expenditure.

Maree joined EuRA in September 2014.

Previously working in Customer Services at Nielsen Bainbridge, Maree is an experienced and confident Administrator. Maree takes an active role in event planning and has overall responsibility for memberships. She also supervises the worldwide roll out of the EuRA Global Quality Seal program.

Maree lives in Norfolk but is originally from South Africa. She is fluent in Afrikaans.

Kirsty joined EuRA in 2024 and has responsibility for events bookings, EuRA Academy coordination and student liaison.

Johanna started her career within Global Mobility in 2007. She has been the main company representative at numerous industry conferences around the globe for many years. She attends and participates in the sessions and loves that EuRA has brought her to all corners of the world. In 2010 Johanna received the Global Mobility Specialist Certification, GMS and in June 2021 she was appointed the Managing Director role at Nimmersion AB. 

Johanna is highly specialised in immigration within Global Mobility. That being said, after 15 years, having filled the roles as Relocation consultant, Immigration Specialist, Director of Quality, Director of Operations, and today Managing Director her knowledge is both deep and broad. In addition, she’s also passionate about educating start-up companies about recruitment policies when hiring employees from abroad. 

Previous work experience in the restaurant management field is paramount in handling stressful situations while still maintaining a high service level. She’s very empathic and want to see the good in people and opportunities. This helps her to give daily support to clients and employees. The most important value she teaches her children is to treat all people equally, no matter how they look, the way they dress, whom they love, their occupation or the colour of their skin. 

From her administrator positions, Johanna is well-organised and always on top of things. By nature she’s calm and always eager to contribute where she can and serve other people. Being organized has helped Johanna in managing work, children and her hobbies in a balanced way. 

Growing up in a small country with lots of innovation has been inspiring for her. Johanna has worked with many of the Swedish start-ups and unicorns known worldwide and trained their recruitment teams about Global Mobility. This among other experiences is something she’s more than willing to share with the other members of EuRA. EuRA has been an important part of Johanna’s career and she has always felt the support from other members juggling the same challenges but in different countries. Johanna would be honoured to serve the northern region as an Executive group member. EuRA give so much to their members and this would be a great way for Johanna to give some in return. 

Johanna holds a master degree in Service Management from Lunds University, Sweden. 

As my mother Dominique was the founder of one of the pioneering Relocation companies in France back in 1991, this industry has been a part of my life since I was 7. The first office of the company also happened to be where our gaming console was located so I remember fondly having to keep quiet while my mother cold-called HR managers who had never even heard of Relocation! 

I first pursued a master’s degree in private law with a specialization in Contracts Law at Université Jean Moulin Lyon III, before completing my training by attending EM Lyon Business School’s specialized master’s Degree in International Management and Law. 

It was only in 2014, after several experiences in Fortune 500 companies and Law firms, that a specific legal question brought me to work for Home Conseil Relocation for the first time and that’s when I fell in love with the Global Mobility industry as it fosters a human-centric yet innovation-prone business. 

From there, the path to take over the company (a move completed in 2017) was natural as I benefited from the shared experience of my mother and some of the most seasoned and welcoming professionals from this great industry, we call our friends. 

Aside from my deep passion for cooking, I intend to bring to the Board this uniquely personal take on the industry as well as my past experiences sitting on Boards of French and International associations to strengthen the Executive Group and serve EuRA’s southern region. 

Marie O’Neill is the owner and Managing Director of EER.  Under her visionary leadership, EER has grown to become one of the Middle East’s leading relocation, immigration and corporate services companies.  She also has an unrivalled industry knowledge and a proven track record of leadership that would make her an invaluable member of the EuRA board.  

As well as being a member of EER’s Senior Leadership Team, before becoming co-owner in December 2021, Marie was also a member of the TIRA board and currently serves on the EER advisory board.  Her insightful strategic planning skills and visionary business development approach have been crucial in facilitating growth and progress in her past and current leadership roles and have been regularly utilised in industry events around the world when she has been asked to act as a panellist or speaker.  She is also well known as an advocate for taking an inclusive and collaborative approach that underscores the importance of partnership and sustainability in the pursuit of prosperity and opportunity.      

EER has been a member of EuRA for over 10 years and is the only company in the Middle East to currently bear its seal, an honour that Marie and her co-owner are extremely proud of.   Marie understands the value of being part of such a prestigious organisation and would relish the opportunity to contribute further and make an even more positive impact to the industry as a whole.  Given EER’s unique position in the dynamic and crucial Middle East region, and Marie’s adept knowledge of growing a successful business in this nuanced marketplace, there is great potential for her to make lasting, productive contributions as a EuRA board member moving forward. 

Ivona Demackova is the Founder and Managing Director of Pro Relocation (ProRelo), a leading provider of immigration and destination services in Slovakia and Poland. Since establishing the company in 2004, Ivona has built a reputation for excellence, innovation, and integrity in the relocation industry.

With a background in finance and a strong entrepreneurial mindset, Ivona combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership. She is known for her collaborative approach, commitment to quality, and deep belief in the value of education and continuous improvement. A long-time EuRA member since attending her first conference in 2005, she has consistently drawn on the strength of the EuRA community for learning, partnerships, and professional growth.

Ivona also serves on the board of the Slovak Investment Support Association and is a strong advocate for ethical business conduct, regional cooperation, and advancing industry standards. She lives in Bratislava and regularly travels to Warsaw to stay closely connected to her team and clients.

As a member of the EuRA Executive Group, Ivona is committed to promoting stronger business connections among members, establishing fair and transparent cooperation standards, and strengthening the visibility and value of best practices across the global mobility sector.

I founded ReloCare in 2008 and grew it into one of the leading immigration and relocation providers in the Czech Republic.

In 2025, ReloCare reached a milestone when it became part of Eres Relocation, one of Europe’s leading mobility groups. This transition was both a professional achievement and recognition of the quality we had built. Now, as Country Managing Partner of Eres Relocation Czech Republic  continue to drive industry standards forward while staying rooted in local expertise and strong client relationships.

As an active EuRA member since 2017, I’ve shared my experience as a speaker and panelist at multiple conferences

I am the Business Development Director at TTHCurzon Relocation and have worked in both Sales and Business Development within the UK and Global Corporate Relocation Industry for over 20 years. I truly love the industry we work in, for everyday is different. One of my key strengths is being able to forge and maintain very productive business relationships which is crucial in winning and maintaining clients in this very competitive industry. I have established an extensive network of contacts throughout the wider Relocation world, many of whom I would regard as friends as well as work colleagues. I pride myself on being an individual, that Clients, Prospects and colleagues have trust in as well as being confident that I always do my utmost to ensure I provide the very highest level of advice and guidance on both a process and policy front. Outside of work, I am married with three grown up children and have been a school Governor for over 20 years and I am a past chair of the Association of Relocation Professionals.
